Hey everyone!

Are you all ready for 3/19?

The 411...
I have gotten us a place for Prince Fans to meet up monthly. Superfunkycalifragisushi will be on the 3rd Saturday of the month at the O2 Sushi & Sake lounge in San Francisco. I'll be playing nothing but Prince and related artist music. Like last time, we will have Princly Videos for your visual pleasure (working on getting some new ones). It's part resturant/part bar...like all of the bars in that area. We will be clearing out the tables at 11 so you all can dance and what not. Sushi is good and the bar has Sake Drinks, Beer and Wine.

I'll be spinning the entire night (5hrs) and will be taking requests . (I'll probably be breaking at some point to hang with you guys too).

Hope to see you guys there! Last time was loads of fun.

The Details:
Where: O2 Sushi & Sake Lounge - 795 Valencia, SF, CA
When: March 19
Time: 9 - 2am (9 - 11 will be more pop stuff and mellower joints...11 starts the dance jams...though due to the crowd last time, expect a little bump before 11)
And...It Free to get in.

p.s. This is a smaller place and not necessa a club, but it is cool and a place to meet and hear great Prince music.

If anyone haven't been to this event and is out in Bay Area California it's a recommend event to attend I went the last one, and I had so much fun I hope to be able to attend the next one. I had so much fun as well as the others check out the second gallery to see all that went party like it's 2005 Superfunkycalifragisushi (second round)

I'm still not 100% certain, but I should be there (so long as work doesn't interfere!) I'm off to post this on NPGMC and Housequake.com (unless Bob beat me to it!)

I had a blast tonight. I finally got to meet SUPERSPACEBOY yey!!!!! There were a lot of HOUSEQUAKERS there. The music was great!!! The videos were awesome too.

It was nice meeting you too. I had a really good time. I don't really drink but I had two beers and I got a little buzzed. Yeah, I'm a light weight. At first the evening was kind of clique-y but everybody warmed up later on. Thank you for being the first to come up and introduce yourself.

Thank you everyone who came out the other night. It wasn't as crazy as last month, but we all got down and had a good time. It's a monthly, you have to expect a few low nights I thought it was the right size for me, personally.

Finally got to meet Miguel... and Candace as always. And big to the gal who gave me a ride home. (I am so bad with names sometimes...and she's told me 2 or 3 i'm bad)

OK so a little news on next time. It will be at Soluna, which is near the civic center. It's going to be on April 15 (3rd Friday). It is almost 3 times as big and has MUCH MUCH better sound. It also has a Huge video screen, so I don't have to bring mine I plan on having a guest dj play with me as well. The cover will be 3 - 5 dollars. Soluna has a FULL BAR, great bartenders (who will actually work with me on making special drinks…I have been asked to have a Pussy Control drink ) and a decent menu (sorta on the chi chi side of things). That's all I know for now...I do have to still confirm the night with Soluna, but I was told that it's all good.

I will post as soon as I know. Oh and the name will be changing Obviously and I’ll send out a small announcement about the change in name so folks will know and not be confused.

Also, I keep hinting at this and have from the beginning, the O2 bar would hopefully be the start until I can get something better. It looks like this could happen with Soluna, and it can if I have support for the night. It seems like I have proven myself a lil bit and you guys like what’s going on, and that’s really all I need to keep this going for you guys. I think Soluna is going to be a better place for you guys and me too (I bring a lot with me to the O2 bar…and at this place it’s all there…I just gotta bring my cds). If this happens The first one after Aprils party will be in June.

I am hoping to move this to a new place permanently as I would really not like to do this at O2 again. The service is really bad. And The manager is rude too. And the sound (Giving that the HAND). I have been there for over 2 years playing music and it has been probably a thousand issues past the “that’s it” line. OK I’ll stop trashing them. No point. It is what it is. That said, if I don’t get this to be at Soluna, I will have t shop this around and may take a hiatus if I don’t find a place right away.

Hey to all that attended,
I just uploaded 50 pictures from the Superfunkycalifragisushi (third round)


All pictures are 640 width 480 height or 480 width 640 height to view
the pictures to a bigger size click on a thumbnail (small picture) the
image will appear a bit bigger, but if you want to see the full size
once you click on the thumbnail it will appear a bit bigger but it
won't be the actual size so then just click on it again you will get a
popup window of the image real size. I hope I'm clear on how to see
the images bigger let me know if you have any problems oh and you are
more than welcome to save any pictures if you have a windows do a
right click on your mouse and do a save as and for a mac just point
your mouse to the image and drag it to the desktop.

I'm glad you like them I also seen Gigi and Earl pictures I'm not sure if you seen them they are on a Yahoo Group, but I think you have to get on the email access list if your on BayNpg (email list) you can email them letting them know that you would like to be added on the Yahoo group
