Purple Funk fest! Mem weekend...... (< 0.01 MB)
Hey All, Just want 2 give U a "heads-up" on an upcoming event that will b happening during the week-end of May 28th - 29th, 2005!!! Julian (from Julians Ride) just informed me ChiTown will b hosting the "PurpleFunk Fest", which in the past was known as the "Prince Fest". The "Fest", are normally held in Ohio so U can imagine how excited we were to find out this this year's "fest" will be in the Chicago area. The "PurpleFunk Fest" will b a gathering 4 Prince "fams" from all over...a time 4 partying (live music from Julians Ride!!!), meet and greet, sharing of Princely stories and collectibles... just a good time! This will also b the week-end of the The Berlin party, so we can all gather-up and head over 2 the Chicago NPGMC Party at the end of the "Fest"!!! sat night- dinner (suppossed 2 b include with vip pass) sat night- Prince tribute band trade show and other prince type activities.... sunday .. with out a doubt.. Berlins Prince Night Now- I do need to state due to past issues>... regardless of "who" is putting this on or who the band may be I will be going. I have had a blast at princefest's in the past getting to meet, greet and PARTAY with other Prince Fams, orgers, npgmc members. I would spend fri & sat at said hotel and then move closer to berlins for sunday night- if not I know from the concerts this summer that u can hit a free shuttle and then a train to berlins- no parkin worries. lol Just my 2 cents. So glad that U will b attending...haven't seen U in a minute!!!! Jill
