Hi people,
after the success of our meet up in Edinburgh last year i think we should try and arrange another one.
I have spoken to a few people who were at it last year and everyone sounds interested.
I thought that if we are going to try and arrange one we should try and arrange it for a date that we can expect the most people to turn up(the more the merrier).
There was about 10 of us last year and i thought we had a really good time.Unique had made up a mix cd that the dj at the bar we were in was kind enough to play.
So, if anyone would like to make any suggestions we can try to arrange something.

i suggest edinburgh again, as its easy 2 get 2 and easy 2 get around as its a small place, the only other alternative would b glasgow, but none of u really live in the centre of glasgow so u would need 2 travel anyways, and its harder 2 get about in glasgow as its much bigger

i guess we really want 2 do this b4 it gets 2 cold, so how about we make a provisional date of saturday 30th october? the clocks go back an hour that nite, so we can all get an xtra hour of drinking in!

if we can agree on a date, then the next thing 2 do is find a venue, if we cant get a particular place 2 ourselves, then we can just meetup at the same place as the last time, pivot, as that was easy 2 get 2 and a nice enuff place, its near the train station and bus station, and walking distance 4 some of us 2 get home, or at least back 2 hotels or b&bs, abbie got a nice and cheap b&b the last time and it was only £25, u cant go wrong at that, and its easy 2 walk home, saving taxi money, and its easy 2 get the bus the short trip up the road 2 the train station or bus station, u would have 2 b a complete fool not 2 b able 2 find either once u get off the bus at st andrews square

last time there was about 15 of us, which was enuff 2 keep it interesting, im sure we can get a few more along the next time if 23 can bring his mates, and t he folks who cancelled the last time ive been 2 a couple of the london meetsup, and they r going well on a monthly basis, it might b 2 much 4 us here as folks r more split around the place, but im sure we can set something up and say meetup every couple of months or every 3 months or something.

so how about it? saturday 30th october, edinburgh, bar pivot on calton road (just at the bit where ewan macgregor gets run over by a car in trainspotting), time 2 meetup 6pm?

I'll do my best to be there, but having a financial crisis at the moment!
Fingers crossed i'll have sorted myself out by end of Oct.
I have to say it would definetely suit me better if it was in Glasgow, as my mum lives nearby and could watch the kids for me. Otherwise i have to pay someone to stay overnight with em

hey you guys, Im from livingston area so i'll be there too. sounds an interesting nite out. will be good to meet fellow fans. also meet some of you women too.

i may try and make this one too, it isnt too far from me, about the same as manchester really and i need a new place to shop!will need some info on hotels in the area though xx
