NewPowerDetroit would like to take the opportunity and thank all of you for the continuous support. For nearly (4) years, Prince Music Night has been a great success, from our very first event "The Rainbow Children Dance/2000" at Club Cobalt (Ferndale) to "Old Friends 4 $ale/2004" at Club Mephisto's (Hamtramck). We've had the pleasure of meeting many great people throughout this experience and building positive relationships; all in the name sake of Prince! You heard it first...from Juan Moreno Sanz 'The Cezar' -aka- (DJ Sanz); a sneak peak of his debut single "I Need U", from his upcoming ep "iNTRODUCING...". The Single is avalible online now, and can be heard first at soundclick.com! ANewPowerDetroit Entertainment & Streetflow Music Introduces... The first promotional internet single release " I Need You". from Juan Moreno Sanz. Recorded Sept/04' at MoMaster Studios. Juan Moreno was born in August/78', to a michigan native mother and a dominican republican father, while being introduced to music at an early age, his musical influences came from hearing his mother sing gospel and r&b songs around the house, eventually he was introduced to the sounds of Prince at age 7, when he'd discovered "Purple Rain" -the movie & soundtrack on a family outing to the drive inn. "The movie was very simular to my household to a certain point, no! my step dad never shot himself, but there was a time he swore with his gun, but ultimately it was the music that left an everlasting impression, which inspired a career in music for me and the need to connect with others alike, Prince is definitely an artist that has helped me along the way (musically) past and present. The first single " I Need You" is a song about sexual benefits of unconditional love. "To love someone unconditionally is totally a very big step in life, when you meet that perfect one who absolutely takes your breathe away and you know for a fact that theres nothing in the world that you wouldn't do for him or her, ...now thats what we'd call unconditional love and with that, there is a definite comfort zone thats creates trust". 'Juan Moreno' plans to continue recording songs at MoMaster Studio for the upcoming ep release; entitled 'iNTRODUCING...' due SOON!
