I really want to come to this party!! The last one I was running the Great North Run..... Got to say, it's not the easiest of places to get to..... Manchester is quite cenraal though..... What about Sheffield?

Birmingham would be good... reasons....

1) Centrally Located
2) Access to all major UK motorways
3) Centre of the rail network
4) International Airport (yeah, I know.... nothing unique about that...)
5) It's where I live

If not Birmingham... Manchester! it's also central, taking our friends north of the border into account!

Aye Manchester sounds allrate to me, though Sheffield does as well bein a Yorkshireman meself.

also, i've dj'ed at 1 or 2 prince nites in manchester, so i know it can work. prince wouldn'tve played manchester if it wasn't a popular location. there r plenty of venues that can b picked from and plenty of other things 2 do if folks want 2 xtend thier stay and do other stuff there.

Much as I love the Lakes, I think we need a big city so that people can easily get there...we don't want to make it difficult for those who travel from abroad do we?

Manchester and Birmingham are both cool and easy to get to by various modes of transport, and of course London, although it can be a bit of a trek for us northerners!
