Chicago-Who's hittin' Berlin 2nite? Howdy, all.
I've been away from here for a few days...first week back to school as a teacher...don't know which end is up! Anyhoo, I'm going to do something absolutely kooky...I think I'm going to go to Berlin tonight! Today is the first anniversary of my dad dying, and I've decided to LIVE instead of sulk. I can't make it a late night, but I'm going to show up right around 8:30 and I'm bringing a friend. I can only stay for a few hours, because I'll have a long day the next day and I'll have to get up early. At any rate, I'd love to see those of you I've met, and I'd love to meet some more of you! I have no idea what I'm wearing, but if you see a clean-shaven white boy who doesn't look like he knows anybody by the bar, that'd be me! Come up and say hello. Anyone else stopping by tonight? had a faboo time at berlin's monthly purple lovefest, as always. shaked my butt with lace, made the scene with my partner in crime ms. TOFKA, and saw all the beautiful faces of the usual suspects and a few new folks to boot. when they *FINALLY* played "come on" i heard the line "if every life has got a reason, you can be mine" and i thought of my sweetie and wished he was with us.  maybe next month...in the meantime, it just brought a smile to my face to see mr. S sneaking up on an ever-so-oblivious TOFKA and freaking her out every few minutes. every month i go i say i'm gonna sit out the next month...who am i fooling???

I went alone my very first time to Berlin last night, but Anxiety and TOFKA are so nice and they introduced me to a few others. Last Sunday I brought a friend with who is only a casual fan of Prince, and we couldn't stay long. But it was still fun. Next time, I hope to meet even more of you! Keith/Kacey | |
