Purple Party in P-Town! StripKlub is throwing a Purple Rain anniversary bash on Friday August 27th at Dante's in Portland Oregon with all procedes going to Ethos Music Center. They will be performing, with special guests, ALL of the songs from the movie in order. A special deal with Dez even has them playing Modernaire in it's original complete form. There will be a cool raffle with items donated by Dez Dickerson, Wendy and Lisa, Portland Music Co, Music Millennium, and others. Prince just sent Ethos a check as well, so you know he's down.

If you are in town or plan to be the end of August, come check it out. Great music, a deserving charity, purple hippies gettin their groove on, it just doesn't get any better.
