I thought it was great regardless of the number of people who turned up..I will admit i was somewhat dissapointed in that. But It was incredible for me to see it THERE as i was only 14/15 when the movie came out so i was never able to be on the scene so-to-speak. I had a blast- ran into some great people I have not seen in a while. my lil sis took 2nd place and it was her 1st time to minni!!!! (too bad we didn't get in the appolonia 6 get-ups..hehehe we would have been in 1st! lol)
we were also a little surprised that they only played a few prince tunes after the movie.. we were all dancin' havin a fantastic time..then they stopped the music-- changed up with other stuff and sho' nuff...the lot of us left... U would think they would have continued with the P music.. eek

But for me...it will be a treasured trip!

I wasn't able to come due to being out of town (SD) during the time, but I am saddened by the fact that Minnesotans are not more excited about our hometown star. I am only partially Minnesotan, as I moved here from Chi-town at the age of 13 and have spent more than than half of my life here. I am crazy about Prince and I am a proud supporter, I am bummed that I was unable to attend. I was crazy about P before I even knew Minneapolis existed and now that I live here you can't keep me away from a P event, (unless I am out of town) I enjoy meeting other P fans and supporting Prince in his endeavors. Please lets keep the supporting Prince because he is truely awesome and a talent. (Maybe I have just had too much to drink now, so don't be too harsh on me).
