I ordered a pair of tickets the other day!
Hope Bobby is wearing his fab purple coat (like at the PR sing-a-long) ! "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

We should meet up somehow. Either before or there. If not I'll be wearing my Ambi-Sonic t-shirt, which seems to work pretty well. Come up and say Hi...love to meet you guys. Christian Zombie Vampires

Sadly, I didn't get to make the party after all.I decided due to my new financial circumstances that I'd better use the money for the two upcoming Prince shows I'll be attending instead of for Hotel accomodations, food, drinks ect to go out to the bay party.i sured id miss everyone though and wanted you all to know I was there in spirit dancing and singing and having a home Prince party til 1:30 am last nite too Hope there's another chance to get together soon.And.Bobby thanks for the invite Love you bro ! I was there, if anyone else was there and saw a gal in a True Funk soldier shirt and purple "urban camo" pants, that was me! I was on the dance floor pretty much all nite (9:30 or so until after 2:00) even tho I can't dance! It was a great crowd, much better atmosphere than the PR sing-a-long a couple of weeks ago. All the Jia t-shirts sold, so the Blackwell's memorial foundation will be getting a nice donation from Bobby. The crowd was just the right size, pretty much filled up the club (the Rawhide), but not to the point that it seemed overcrowded.
Amazing how two DJ's could spin Prince (and a handful of songs by related artists) for five hours, with no repeats, and people could still think of songs they wish had been played! That's what you call having a damn big repertoire! The DJ's covered a lot of ground, with oldies, B-sides, remixes I'd never heard, and even US of D (recent NPGMC download). All in all, I had a great time, and all for only $5 (I spent more on bridge tolls getting to and from the city!). I believe there's going to be another event in October but I'm not sure exactly when or what. Two thumbs up!! "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. I enjoyed myself, as I always do. Bobby always shows everyone a great time. My only complaint is that I kept getting lured into the upstairs where it was cooler -- but no music! It was nice to have a place to actually talk to people, though -- made for more of a house party vibe.
Bobby, you best do the Halloween party -- Vikee and I are working on our costumes already! __________________________________________
