Prince Tribute Party someting I came across on an okayplayer.com board .....
"PRINCE TRIBUTE PARTY!!!!!" yup yall we're at it again. so you heard the stories about the life and times of the Madonna Tribute and you didn't make it!!!! We'll now's your chance to get a taste of what it's all about. this one will go down in the history books fo SHO!!!! On Monday, July 26th we're hosting another hot Tribute Party at LQ in midtown New York City. For the Tribute event at the end of July the artist being celebrated is non-other than PRINCE!!!!! At this event our live 5 piece band of talented musicians will play Prince’s classic hits behind 12-16 vocalists from a wide array of musical backgrounds. Two to five headliners are being sought for the event including Jamiroqui, Ginuwine, Pink, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo, Bilal, Maxwell, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, El Debarge, Musiq, and Alicia Keys. Along with the headliners there will be another 8 to10 up and comers on the bill (potentials in that list include John Legend (well he said he may be in Europe at the time), Yahzarah, Meleni, Peven Everett, Dwele, Raheem Devaugn, Alia Marie, and Anthony Mills). Tickets went on sale on the 1st of July and can purchased at http://www.kyaentertainment.com/Prince. Ticket price started at $10 on the 1st of July and will go up $1 per day until the day of the show where they will be $35 at the door.
