mine used to make a humming sound but it doesent now i use a different amplifier and cables

This is true for my strat as well. I actually have a humbucker by the bridge, though. I mostly use the three settings closest to the bridge. For some reason I don't like the second from the neck.

Thanks 4 the replys guys.Is it actually difficult to get feedback with humbuckers if you wish to play for example a Hendrix song that requires it.

Kinman Blues/Warm (stacked humbuckers) pickups, my friend. No noise and plenty of JH/SRV sounds. I use them in my ash-maple strat. The bomb.
