3 more...

Got bored tonight and did these:

Funk Jam # 4 - some of you may remember this. The original version had a sample of Raphael Saadiq/D'Angelo's 'Be Here'. I was planning to resurrect it, but for some reason the digital sampler does not send well to the digital recorder. Everytime I send a loop it sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom by the time I master down to 2 tracks. Which is the case with the drum loop, I used from Erykah Badu/?uestlove "Booty". Everything else is moi.

B-Side # 2 - one of those instances where I just hit record and let the tape roll... whatever happens simply happens.

Heart - this is a work in progress. So far, the result is not what I want, but it's something I'll come back to. I think the guitar chords are out of tune confuse

psykosoul,

Funk Jam # 4 -
Groovy piece. Nice vibe. The guitar melody is workin'.

B-Side # 2 -
"...hit record and let the tape roll... whatever happens simply happens."

Brother man, listen carefully.
Make a poster of the above statement and place it where you can't help but see it when you enter your recording space. I'm dead serious. Because if these are the kind of ideas that come from that...you feelin' me? I really like this piece.

Heart -
I'm gonna personally stay on your a$$ until you finish this one.
There's what sounds like an acoustic guitar in the background (playing 1/4 note pattern) that's gotta come forward in the mix. I could hear Jeffrey Osbourne or Donny all over this piece.

Like everybody else has been telling you, you've got it goin' on. Get busy with this.

Your stuff keeps getting better and better!

B-side#2 is really cool, the baseline is tight and I like the baby noises.

I really like Funk Jam #4, dig the psychedelic feel to it.

Kevlar

You really create amazing moods. I am really digging em all, but I really dig B side. Those swirly key sounds just totally chill me out. The guitar on Funk Jam is very tasty.

Really nice stuff.
Turn that damn gitarr down!! http://www.soundclick.com/kevinschafer
