But I clicked your signature link. Very cool breaks. Is this breakbeat? I dunno. Your stuff becomes more and more avant garde artistic stuff, and I like it. It's a challenge to listen to - not like MY music is a challenge because I suck, but because of the tempo changes, the samples, etc. I continue to urge you to keep going in this direction! I like this stuff for the risks you're taking, if that makes sense. You are a true artist. The singing and playing is only 1/2 of the artistic process... having the paintbrush is one thing, knowing how to use the paintbrush is another... just because somebody can play some chords and can sort of find a decent note, it doesn't make them an artist. It just makes them a performer. An artist can take an idea and bring it to life using ANY type of canvas or medium. Yours is your beats and your song structure. Keep going man. Hey do you DJ? You have a real ggod feel for mixing. You should start doing some parites out thr. Its a great way to make contacts too. If you dont have gear, try to hook up with guys who do and work as a roady or whatever til your old enough to got on. Cool inovative stuff! | |
