Hi Vina
Thanks for the feedback. I'll most likely expand on the opening theme dropping the loop at the end but keeping the groove. I was originally working with just the loop and I had some pretty racy lyrics accompanying it. Take the dirtiest song you've ever heard and multiply it by fifty. Towards the end of the session, I started fooling around with the Nord and made a 180. [This message was edited Thu Apr 15 9:51:52 2004 by marcdeondotcom]

Jshua, Tal - Thank You.
If either of you (or anyone reading this) would like to collaborate please let me know. I agree with you Jshua in that I have a knack for rhythms and atmospherics but there is so much more I'd like to learn... things you can only learn by working with and/or studying other musicians.

The 80's challenge song is Whitney Houston's Love Will Save The Day. The music for that piece was actually put down in like late 1999 and yes, I was in a dark place at that time... two-thousand, zero, zero party over, oops out of time. I had the weight of the world on my shoulders but I snapped out of it by heading to NYC for NYE. The music on Soundclick is moody but you're only getting half the picture there. The music I release commercially is much more upbeat. What you hear at Soundclick is me winding down (or gearing up) through sketches, and experimental grooves. I was thinking about this a lot last week and I'm going to post a few of my more upbeat dance works there. I don't have time at the moment but I'll orgnote you when they are up. The songs are Free-fall and Candyflip.

Thanks for the thumbsup Psykosoul. I'm working on it. I haven't touched it since but a house mix is playing in my head. Lookout weekend [This message was edited Fri Apr 16 10:04:10 2004 by marcdeondotcom]
