It's called "Get In". Only the 1st 2 raps are recorded and synth will be added (maybe replacing the rhodes). A lot more vocals will be added, and the obvious needed tweaking and stuff will be done.
But I wanted to share this anyway, cos I think it's damn funky. But maybe that's just me

I updated "Get In". It's going to be renamed to "Booty Shake" (as I'm sure you'll know why when you listen to it).
Still not finished, but it's gotten even funkier

I heard this before and I liked it even more on the next listen. Man straight up old school soul/funk reborn from a hip hop womb! Great live feel...Nice change and melodic phrasing, it just "feels good" instead of just wild'n out on guitar and drums. Keep up the good work!

The Netherlands. We used to have a more gigs than nowadays, unfortunately. We have some 'internal problems' to settle in the band (you know, the usual 'band' affairs) before we can do them again.



Usually I do all music and the rapper does the vocals. For this track I invited the guitar player of the band. He did it in one take, so that saved me a lot of work (I'm a lousy guitar player) trying to get them right myself.
The mix currently online *is* clipping as hell (although I found that to be much more obvious in the lo-fi version). It's just a rough mix of an unfinished jam. When I've recorded the rest, I'll give the mix some more attention.
