So maybe this is a little off-topic. Well, maybe not since games programming is a bit of an art too I think, and I did make the music for it too (it's an electronic version of 'For a lifetime' I made for Move GA*GA)
So lemme explain. In boring daily 9-5 life, I'm a computer programmer these days. And in my free time I sometimes work on computer games stuff. So I wrote this computer game and I'm proud to say, a large computer company (Sun microsystems) showed interest in it and decided to show it on the Games Developers Conference this year, also to show what their baby (java) is capable of these days.

You have to have a recent java installed (click the link on the page if you don't have it, which probably is the case), and you have to have a half-decent video card and PC. It works only on windows and linux (sorry no mac yet, but it will work on mac soon).

I dunno if I'm totally off posting this here and if I am just don't mind me, but I hope maybe someone will enjoy it.

Okay Erik... here's the deal...

I downloaded Java 1.4 or whatever it was and ran the game. I did get the error described in the last message, but the game ran in another window. Took me a bit to figure out how to steer, though. My cursors didn't work, but the mouse did.

Then I commenced to blowin up shit.

Then... when I hit escape to exit, it rebooted my machine. On reboot, it told me an unexpected error crashed my video drivers.

But... I had FUN playing it, though!!! And the graphics were neat as shit!
