Some questions 4 u 2 answer

I was wondering if any of the musicians/singers here have had any record contracts or experience in the music industry. I was also wondering if u had some advice regarding the money aspect of the music industry, such as signing record contracts, publishing, song royalties etc. and about the mistakes that u may have made and how u look @ these in retrospect, ie as a learning experience etc.

The reason I ask these questions as I know the music industry is highly competitive and is full of talented musicians/singers and would like ur opinions/views on whether a career in music is viable.

It would b cool 2 hear ur views/opinions/comments & 4 u 2 answer my questions,

Thanx!

It will cost & you might not make it, thats the painful truth I have to admit everyday. But we've got to try, achieving sucess is never easy. I wanna at least be able to say I gave it my best shot but you gotta have a backup plan wink. Im embarking on a career in the music industry (fingers crossed) but I have plenty of plans if that all goes wrong.

Hope that helps mate

i don't have a lot to say, but 1 thing 4 sure it's that it would be wise 2 nevermind what people say about what you do but at the same time listen carefully 2 all of them...regarding people in the business (meaning the ones who sign who) i would say that they often talk a lot...hmmm ...even too much!
