so this forum's all one big amalgam now, eh? sweeeeet!

anyway, i ain't a musician (although i do wish that i knew how to play bass geetar) but i'm an artist. i mostly work with the usual pen, ink, colored pencils and whatever other visual art medium you throw in front of me, but as of late i've been gettin back in touch with another side of art that i fell in love with when i was in high school: graphic art. photoshop is gawd, but since i can't afford photoshop i got the next best thing: jasc's paint shop pro.

i use it mostly for graphics, icons and layouts for my livejournal but i also use it for banners n'such (i know most of ya'll have seen my banners, like the "beeyotch!" and "you nasty pidgeon!" ones that i use sometimes). anyway, i got bored earlier and made this banner for my org profile:



it looks kinda-sorta crappy, i know...i should go back and remake it soon. i'll be showcasing more of my banners n'such here in months to come. i wish i could show off some of my hand-drawn art here too, but i don't have a scanner (can't afford one, plus i've no room to put one anywhere by my computer). hope ya'll like my stuff!

I love that program, used to do lots of graphics with it. mostly for web sidegn, but also for CD covers and such.

Now that is my definition of THE LOVE BELOW.
