Three new "2funkE" tracks!

I have just uploaded three new tracks at Soundclick, please check them out and give me your honest opinion.

"Billy" and "Lost Track" are somewhat older tracks and probably less interesting than "Erotic Village", where we managed to take the "2funkE" sound to the next level! Well, at least in my humble opinion... wink

BUT EROTIC VILLAGE! Wooh! From the moment it came on and i heard the backwards snare smack, i knew it was gonna be the jam! Ho shit! Then u got the nerve 2 throw in the 'dum dum' in the middle of the beat, u know that's funky!

Thanks pal, I knew you would like "Erotic Village"!

BTW, the upload of "Lost Track" is now completed, I wonder what you think of that one...

Love your stuff as usual. Just the synth sound and the overall vibe with those "block-rockin-beats". Just off the charts FUNKY.

Remind me again, is anyone playing the bass or guitar?

I heard vocals for "Billy" but I need to write it out and come up with the rest of the words. Would you mind?

Thanks Slave, good to see you back! We do play guitar and bass ourselves in our tunes, yes. The guitar in Billy though are sampled from an old funk record, cut into pieces and re-arranged by us.

If you have any ideas for lyrics of course you are more than welcome to write some, but remember we still don't have a singer to put them down... neutral

Very very nice. I love your stuff. And you're right - you pushed it to the next level, sound-wise, and composition-wise.

You need to start marketing your music to videogame companies. I'm totally serious. I just read an article about it. This stuff would fit in a ton of games - specially them retro gangta games.

I'll see if I can find it - it was in the last issue of "Electronic Musician" I think.

My musical partner Ingmar and I play everything on Erotic Village and the other songs. We almost never use loops or long samples. That would be too easy IMO.

Do you have that article for me perhaps?

Found it in MIX magazing - so it's not as geared towards the musician, as it is towards the studio.

Wow man, Erotic Village is HOT! I love the beat and the sounds you're using. Good shit. Future funk is right. Really cool. This is dying for vocals, ya know... wink But seriously though, great groove, man.

Checked out Erotic Village, Lost Track, and Get Down.

Gotta say that I love the production... the mix is right. And some nice funkly licks, just like I like 'em. smile

To be honest, I wasn't really thrilled musically with Lost Track, but the other two had me bobbin my damn head. There's some hella talent in these threads, though, ain't there?
