Hi everyone,

I am very proud to announce 2funkE's first (and hopefully not last) 12" release this summer! It will consist of two tracks, "Tuff Groove" and "Detroit". The release will be on Marc Deon's MDEX record label, so we're keeping it in the Org family, so to speak.

We will change our bandname to "Bumper" though, my musical partner Ingmar never really liked "2funkE". This means sometime soon I will have to make a new account at Soundclick, sigh... But anyway, I am really excited about all this and just wanted to share this with you, my fellow org musicians. The future's looking bright!

Let us know where we can buy it (when it's ready of course).

Hopefully by that time I will have already bought Lewis's cd.

But whadda ya think of the new name "Bumper"? To Dutch guys like us it sounds kinda cool, but maybe you Americans think it is the most absurd, stupid name in the world...

Personally, I like band names that make little sense at first. That way, you own the name and build it into something. Whereas "Floyd's Funk Revival" is a horrid name that spells disaster the first time you do something that dares to step outside of Funk.

Way to go man. Way to go indeed.
