"He Goes Away From Me" - first acoustic rough draft demo http://www.soundclick.com...zmusic.htm
well no responses so far, so i dunno. Let a brutha know what u think. if not oh well. Intended for some1 else 2 sing other than me. Uses "I love U In Me" music (Prince) just for melody purposes. Story behind this song: The chorus line came up in 1994, when I was 12. Then at work I was singing and "I Love U In Me" and pop! A song idea. Put 2 and 2 together and made a couple lyrics out of it! I just met him and i already hurt When he goes away from me Single I thought that it...it was the life Till I met him in the street one day Silly 2 think that, he is the one But he makes me feel my life has just begun Everybody calls me dumb but I dont care He goes away from me I hate when he goes away from me I hate when he goes away from me He doesnt know who i am he probably doesnt even care How can i resist him Everytime he standing there I just met him and I already hurt When he goes away from me I hate when he goes away from me (repeat) Sometime its better not 2 know some1 at all It's just that, I cant control it I wanna set it off (I wanna set it off!) Isaiah, it's a good idea, but it's sooooo hard for me to listen to that background music and not think of the Prince words and melody. Do you know what I mean? It's hard for me to judge when you're just putting different words to someone elses music and vocal melody. But, you could've did a P. Diddy rap over it...lol. I like the words and the imagery that you present, though. You can sample one of my songs if you want. That'd be cool. | |

Try Velvet promise instr. or This Blood or I know or Autonomous Man or even Imposters. You could sample one part for verse another for chorus.
