FYI, Ben is cool with the name change.
To go forward, we need a title and a short description.

This is what we have currently:
org Musician Hangout
A place for musicians on the org to discuss their music, techniques, gigs, etc.


Before I give the new title and description to Ben, I'd like to hear from the active forum members. Here is the first suggestion. Have at it.

org Artist Community
Showcase and discuss your own works in music, painting, photography, poetry, techniques, etc.

Sounds alright to me! I like the idea of not just music alone but also other artforms. There's a whole bunch of creative people around here. Also by broadening the definition of this forum more people might come over and check this corner of the Org out.

Production is it's own creative artform, don't you think?

Instead of just showcasing and discussing personal works, discussions on techniques on how one does it would be very active as well, right?

I do think the word "design" should be in there.
Now that I think about it, instead of "poetry", the word "writing" would be a better and broader term.

How about:

I hate 2 b the only one against this idea but, with this site being gear towards musicians and what we think is what brings me to this site. I like the fact that not only are we musicians but, we are Prince fans, which really gives us alot of similar interests. I have tried other forums even within the prince.org and there are some very weird and extreme personalities out there that would drastically change the vibe in the musician hangout. Please reconsider this idea.
