Thanks guys, words can not express my appreciation to you wonderful people just for starting or commenting on this thread and my previous one.
This wouldn't be so difficult for me if it wasn't my mom. It's just something I'm really having a hard time dealing with and I hope none of you have to deal with. The worst is that she lives in another state and there's nothing I can do but wait and get death updates. I'm sure eventually I'll be able to channel my feelings into a creative thing (music) but right now life doesn't mean much to me. It took me all day to be able to respond to this with out crying. I've never met anyone here from around the world but I've never felt closer to all of you in my life. Beau, David Ryan Harris is like a soothing friend to me and it's helping me. Thank you again my friend.

Chris, Oh my God, I had no idea it was your mother. You're such a sweet guy and I really hope to meet you someday and give you a hug. Crying is good, you gotta let it all out. You're lucky you can cry, lots of guys can't. Crying brings healing and relief. Again, stay strong, my friend.
Peace. | |

I try to not get to personal on the internet but this really is a drag and I wanted to let the cool people here know why I need to get back into things.
I don't have a problem being emotional (crying) but I can control how I feel with my mind. I've changed my perspective to focus on work and myself and keep it out of my mind. I'm trying to save some money to get back to see her more often but short of quitting my job and moving to Florida, there's nothing I can physically do about this situation. Feeling sorry for myself and my mom is a waste of energy and is doing nothing. Sorry to infiltrate this site with drama but I just had to let y'all know why I'm back. Thanks for everyone's kind words. On another note, my damn mixing board is non-functional. I called Behringer and they said I could pay to ship it to them and they would look at it for $50. The cost for the board was $75 so I'm looking for another little mixing board so I can record. I may have a line on one from a friend but I've got to get back into music (and not just minor, sad bastid chords). Thanks again, my friends!

Moderator | Went through the SAME situation with my father.
Stinks big time. I'm in florida, he was in tennessee. Hard things to ballance when you got bills to pay. I even tried to up and move back to Tennessee, but I couldn't swing the 500 per month car payments, yet alone the 250 dollar per month insurance payments. Ever need an ear, we're here.
