Are you talking about plain old mixing, where you just fade one song into the next, or are you talking about layering songs on top of each other, dropping stuff in and out of other songs?

Here's what I found with a google search of "DJ MiXING" and COMPUTER:

ACID comes to mind right away, but I don't think it handles gigantic strung-together files - like, a 45 minute set or anything like that.

I'm guessing you're wanting something more like an mp3 mixer maybe? If you're wanting to do it live, then, yeah, you'll need an mp3 mixer. If you're wanting to create something in advance and then distribute it, then check into ACID.

is it possible to just mix straight onto my computer for my cd mixer. Maybe a 10 song mix and then burn it to cd?
