Untitled1: It started out great, only to discover that this is an unfinished empty shell for a future song. There may be more to it, but, that's what it feels like - just the same passage of loops repeated until the fadeout.

Junktrunkin: VERY cool startup... I like the harmonies a LOT. Vocals sound like Anthony David. I like the groove and the feel of this tune. Very cool. Waiting for it to kick off. The only flaw I find is - okay, two - the bottom end is WAAAY too prevalent. And not in a good way. It's just bottom heavy to the point that it overwhelms everything else - distorts. Second - the lead vocals - and this part I realize is nit-picky - you can hear room-noise - echoes of the lead vocals. With the quality of the rest of the song, quality of the singing, etc, I would expect a little higher attention to detail on the vocals. Ambience - that's the word. There's too much ambience on the lead vocal - where there is none anywhere else in the mix... which immediately calls attention to itself - reminds the listener that you're listening to a studio recording instead of a band jamming. Petty, I realize. VERY NICE besides that nitpicky stuff.

Love the ending. I'll be singing this on the way home today. Can't wait to see the daycare's reaction... "if ya boody dont move ta thisss..."

Common Folk: Another great recording. Except for the hiss. I noticed it on the previous song too - either the song volume is mixed way too low, or you need to clean the heads on the reel-to-reel. (heh. joke there) WHOA! at 2:07 and 2:14 the vocals fall way out of harmony - which is only noteworthy because the harmonies are pretty good throughout the rest of the song. I would definitely go back and clean those up.

I really like this stuff a lot. If it's not already on an indie release somewhere, I'd be surprised.

Definitely not being a bitch - but - consider the first few times you posted up in this place... somtimes I get uppity that folks don't make friends before throwing up a song or 2, and then other times, I remember when I posted my stuff and didn't really want to be judged on what a jackass I am - just wanted folks to think about the music... so - it does go both ways.

Sad that they haven't come back and responded tho. THAT'S what bothers me. If I'm going to listen and then post some opinion - ANY opinion, at the very least, I would want a "thanks" or, more likely, a "you have no clue what you are talking about jackass" from them.

But that's just me.

This music got to me....so soulful and great vocals!

I actually think its kinda altered my journey on the project that I'm doing right now...
