Ahhh. The floppy hat and jumpsuit are too out of place for a blues competition.
Those idiots are purists and wont tolerate someone actually trying to bring a music style kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Another reason why I'm just plain bored with the blues. I'm sick of hearing "Stormy Monday" and "Pride and Joy" and "Sweet Home Alabama" played by every band. Sure, there's idiots all over the place in zoot suits, and don't get me started in all the black leather long coats, (what is this, 1983?) but a floppy hat and a sparkly jumpsuit?
