Some help with sound effects.

I'm looking for a crowded club sound effect (think Joy In Repeatition)... can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hey Matty!

There are a couple of ways you can go about it...

1-There are standard "stock" recordings on the market that you pay a one time fee for and then use.

2-Like PP4 said, there are recordings of all kinds of ambient sounds, including crowd noise on any number of standard peer to peer programs...

3-or you can do what I did and actually grab a remote and head down to your favorite establishment and record some ambient noise..

Number 2 is probably the most effecient and easiest way to go...

Also there are CD's of that kind of stuff and record shops, probably near the classical section..

peace

Heavenly

There are many websites which offer sound effects royalty free. some have search engines which you can even choose the quality of the file. (44.1 khz, stereo, 16 bit).

It's been a while since I went to any, so I don't remember. but here's what I've found on my favorites:
