Wow. That is very cool. I hope Pepsi is losing some of their fascist ties and actually promoting freedom.

If only their crap tasted anywhere near as good as Coke.
But hey - I'm from Atlanta. It's in our blood. We have to hate Pepsi or they run us out on a rail. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Moderator | I just tried it for the first time.
I got "Hey Ya!" from Outcast. Pretty sweet quality, this AAC format. (not an mp3, much better in my opinion) All I had to do was enter the code on the bottle cap, and pick a song - then tah-dah, I was done. I've talked to several of the girls in the office to give me their bottle caps when they're done with their beverage. Hopefully the i-tunes store song list will grow a lot more. I haven't found much there that I either don't have or want. Doing multi-media, this might become useful to find those particular tunes to go with certain presentations. Maybe Prince will release a new single this way like he did with Napster with "The Work". Save them bottle caps! All Rights Reserved. |

I'm originally from Buffalo and I have heard that Western NY is the oNLY place in the country where Pepsi outsells Coke. But living in Atlanta now....whew, U ask 4 Pepsi here and U get the "Boy you just shit in the Wheaties!" look! I think this is a really cool promotion because here you have two major companies doing something ligit to promote music. If more record companies thought to do stuff like this, they'd be doing better than they are.
