Ok.....i seriousley considering releasing my cover of girlsand boys i've got labels interested and up to now i have never really pushed this song fpr a serious release ...i kinda wanted to use it as a b-side 
As this year is princes year...i know i could start using the "hype" to get a release. what do you think? do you think the prince admirers would support, maybe even help? you can hear a clip on my site...but i think most of you have heard the full version. www.mistri.tv

It worked for Alicia Keyes didn't it? Is Under the Cherry Moon gonna be released on dvd next year? Seems like that would be good timing. | |

Critics will always be there, the pub is want you want. All the publishing lead sheets are looking for Outcast basically "Prince" now! Wait til after the Grammies and the HoF induction! Do not release it on a CD for SALE unless you personally get approval from Prince to do it. Otherwise, he will have people legally after you.
I have done one cover, "Something In The Water Does Not Compute", and I never intend to release it for sale anywhere. I know Prince probably don't mind that I made a remake of the song, but I made sure that no one can download it or make copies and sell them. So, Lewis is right, be careful, and don't do anything for sale purposes without talking to Prince. Peace, JD | |

Peace, JD thanks jd. i'm currently thinking of releaseing a white label for only the dj's. ive got a couple of big contacts in the states who are going to listen to the track first to decide if i should go for it. it will not be for sale. if i decide to do it...i'm going to make sure that the peeps at the miami music conference get to hear it. then lets see what happens. i will not release it for sale until all the leaglities are dealt with. thats if that happens...its all about promotion. i'm going to go for and see what happens
