Hello peeps i need help on cubase, when im recording audio files in there seems 2 b a delayed, its not the effect it just records in delay! out of timing..

turn off any anti virus software (if you have a cable modem like me, you'll have to disconect your modem at the mains so as not to pick up any viruses when anti virus is shut off). Im presuming your using version 5 of vst here, next go into Options/audio setup/system & increase the amount of ram used per channel, also on the monitor panel, select global disable. Make sure your computer is recording your line in/mic socket. Sometimes your soundcard can be set to 'what you hear' which would record the entire track, hence more delay.

Try these & let me know what version you have & soundcard/PC stats & I hope I can help more. BTW dont make the mistake of emailing stienberg for help, they are useless

Could it be that it's simply soundcard latency? You can set this in a menu somewhere...
