A New Funk Order theme or musical intro:

I have an idea. Instead of one of us making our own intro, why don't we ask someone to donate an excerpt of an already recorded song that explains the New Funk Order and it's message.

My vote:

"Can You Feel It": The Jacksons

here is the excerpt:

All the colors of the world should be
Lovin` each other wholeheartedly
Yes, it`s all right
Take my message to your brother and tell him twice
Spread the word and try to teach the man
Who`s hating his brother, when hate won`t do
When we`re all the same, `cause the blood inside me is inside you

Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it

I still like the orginal idea of passing around a track and letting everyone pee on it until it's just saturated with FUNK.

The ftp directory is already in place.

OK, how about if you just run a loop of clips from all songs from CD #1 or maybe morph them together to sound really cool or something. Or maybe morph the ones that could be morphed then play another clip of some more that can be morphed and make it a continuous loop? This idea is free of charge, but I just want 25% of Otan's share of NFO equality. Tell me that's not the coolest idea ever - I DARE U!

Ok, then we'll sample you making some moaning noises OR between snippets a robot can chant "new funk order" over and over.

I too like the idea of passing it around and peeing on it to create a 30 second spot. Member what I mentioned about opening it up to jingles?

The intro is your funkin' calling card...maaan

Ok y'all!

Back from the skies...
Check this out!

I agree with the idea of passing it around and then morphing it into one really solid idea! It doesn't matter to me who's part gets the nod in the intro but having something interesting down really interests me.

So How about this? Let's settle on a key and a BPM (beat per minute)? and work our individual magic from there...

Someone (I assume JD?) could compile everything into kinda like a "Batdance" sort of thing and just go from there...

What do you think?

:Peace:
