Got my NFO CD, but.....

As soon as it came to track 8, which just so happens to be my track, it becomes distorted and hisses and then wouldn't play tracks 9 through the end. In fact it cut out about a quarter of the way through my track. Did this happen to anyone else?

omfg

I should be getting mine any day now. I'm sure we will hear from everyone once we get them.

Man that sucks!
I can send you another one.

I listened to most of them after I made them.

Is mine all crackly and distorted on the other ones? I remember Vina mentioning that when she dowloaded the MP3 it was distorted or something. Personally, I never heard it - in my own files or anything that I've uploaded on the net and definitely not in the WAV file that I sent. Maybe just a bad copy then? I'd love another NFO, please. smile Thanks.

I'm playing the master that was used to make them all and there are no problems.

I'm guessing it was just a bad CD or the counter got bumped when it was being made.

I've noticed that when I make a lot of CD's in a row, sometimes I get one or two out of every 10 or so that have a glitch.

There is a nice dupe machine that I have my eye on.

they make some that print on the CD itself too. Only 3,000 more dollars to go!

I think it was the very first set of mp3s that were uploaded to the preview site.

You really should double check everything that you upload. I always download my stuff to make sure it comes out right. Don't want anyone to hear things any worse than they already are!

Did you check your track over here?

Note: The previews I think are still those stinky files though. The downloads are made from the wave files we sent in. Am I right NFO?

Yes and no.

The previews were made from the orginal mp3s that were submitted. the quality is compromised when making the little vinettes with the animation/photos/and music to create a comphortable file size.

The new mp3's were made from the .wav files that were sent in. Some songs arn't that great because we did not get .wav files from everyone.

your's got sent out at the same time as the others. (Dec. 5th) I'm not sure how long it takes to get over seas. I'm sorry it took a while, but to get the .wav files from everyone was a big task.
