Many people say that, Beau. Whenever I start talking about P-Funk, Prince, etc, they are like, "didn't you say you were born in 76?" The era of funk and soul between 1973 and 1993 is my specialty. That is the sound that most influenced me, so naturally I am gonna make the music that I feel. I agree, Isaiah, I like "Pose" better than "Live Wire". I am glad that you all like it! Tal, my preference for the "Camille" sound comes and goes. I am really liking my regular voice lately because you all have given me more confidence that my regular voice sounds good, and I thank you all for that!

yeah JD, I remember that thread when everyone was talking to u about your natural voice...I don't care what they say 'cause I like your natural voice but, the Camille voice gives the funk that "movie star","scarlet pussy","shockadelica"...vibe.these are some of my personal favorites. just don't let peoples (mine included) opinions affect the artistry. follow your heart. | |
