I like this alot because it captures a emotion. Without that music is just sounds, but this really emerses you in the thoughts and emotions that the girl is feeling. I flet what she was feeling. Very nice to chill and unstress to too!

BTW Your website of off the chain! Your a hottie! If you were closer to Chicago I would suduce you...lol

Keep experimenting, you never know what your mind will find!

Yeah it was cool Sneha! (I can call you Sneha here yeah? smile).

I love the Indian vibe your put into this one (works well), and the mellow soulfulness is a definite change from the dance songs I heard on your website - I really dig the melody on Me Myself (and Dre's mix is the bomb!). Is that the change your talking about? Maybe you've done mellow stuff before, just that (to me) you sound more confident/comfortable with the dance stuff.

My two pence

By the way, come over to France and I'll seduce you!

It's only an hour difference, so less jetlag wink mr.green
jerkoff.....drool BULLSEYE! cool

Love it. Haunting minor with mesmerizing conga beats.

What a beautiful voice and very calm/soothing vibe.
Nice mix too.

Couple of questions.

Were you classically/professionally trained to sing?

Was it recorded in a home studio?

Thanks for sharing this

I really like the vibe of this. Your voice is beautiful. Did you write this with Dre?

Since it's a demo, I'm assuming it's not finished yet. IMO, there needs to be some kind of melodic solo and a bridge of some kind. You could overdub a lot more vocal soloing over the existing ad-lib to make it REALLY pop out. The music is really cool to chill too, maybe it should just be longer. I can hear a sitar solo at the end or something. It could really take off.

I really like the vocal melody. The first 5 notes of the first two lines of the verses especially.

Love the tablas, and the middle- eastern feel.

thumbs up!

this was recorded in a studio...not at home...we need to lay something down in this style for a meeting i had arranged. So we went in to the studio with this in mind! They needed to hear more of my vocals. The tone of my voice when i whisper, being sensual and all that!!...may as well give em what they want!

It is still a demo...i can hear so much that needs adding...i agree with the adlibs needing more of that ethearal thing going on so they flow more. I was playing around and as we didn't have loads of time this is the result!

i'm not classically trained but then again voacl coaches these days generally work in a classical style hmm

thanks for your comments peeps smile

I really like this. Your voice is excellent! The Eastern influence is really good in this. This would be good to listen to with candles.

You go girl!

Well, no matter, music is music, art is art. I can disagree with what someone says in a song but still respect the talent that it takes to musically make the song. I didn't quite hear the words.

It's like some of the songs by old heavy metal bands. They can talk about dark things, but I still know that they have talent, even though I may not agree with what they are singing about.

Peace,
JD

Your whisper sounds really good. It sounds funny to say that, like how hard can it be to whisper and record it, but it is. It's very cool to hear something different from you. Are you going to start going more in this direction?

I hope so. I need music like this to quet my mind.

Sorry, I didn't hear a word but I'm glad I know now. I tend to focus on the music and vibe but I guess I should pay attention to the words sometimes.

Like I need a reason to listen again.

i used to be known as the one who could also add the best whispers to any song...kinda didn't say much for my vocals back then...but i guess its about the tone of the voice shrug
i think if you work on a word or phrase too much...it ruins the vibe. most of it is always better in the first take. but sometimes we love to over produce things.
this track def needs more work but its a nice starting point!
i'm a lyric person...i focus on the music/vibe and lyrics cos i like to sing along to things.
its a sad song about a girl accepting that telling her man about her lies will inevitably end the relationship.

I love this song...it seems a bit unresolved (music theory speaking) it seems to be leading my ear to a higher place. Maybe to a positive vibe (major key bridge) like Vina spoke of. Something high energy to push the groove over the edge. Maybe introduce some other instruments like a distorted guitar riff and strings for a dramatic effect then break it back down to the basic groove...Maybe a double time feel then back to the groove...
