WHY oh WHY would CNET buy mp3.com, and then post a page telling folks that they're creating a NEW site at music.download.com? WHY not just use the MP3.com domain and create a new, better site?

I'm baffled. It's almost like they LOVE the story of the NEW COKE/Classic Coke debaucle, and want to kill what was once (and could again be) a GREAT site with a solid community.

What a shame.
