By the way Otan after all that insight you guys gave me (and just hearing you play man) I'm having my first ever guitar lesson tomorrow. I'm kinda shitting myself because there will be a guy who's supposedly qualified to say how crap I am! I just reckon I've fallen into too many learning traps, and there are many techniques I wanna learn but just can't figure out...hopefully the guy wont be a cock. "'Yeah you can shove those fret-board notes up your ass', am I learning them!"

Just talk to the guy to find out if he's going to teach you what HE likes or if he's going to teach you what YOU want to learn. You're screwed if you get with a teacher that doesn't like/understand/care about the style of music you're wanting to learn.

I mean, hell, I LOVE me some Satch and Vai, but it ain't what I wanna learn. I wanna learn me how to do them tasty solos like CC Deville!!

I've spoken to him on the phone and a) he speaky the engleesh, and b) he may be the ONLY tutor round these parts that does! But he seemed nice enough. It'll be great if he has funky effects and a decent amp 'cause at least he could show me how to use that sorta stuff (my new amp is delayed!) I'll keep ya posted.

Buying drum stuff this weekend I didn't come across the Matell set but Aquarian heads just made my drum set sound awesome.

Expensive though so all I could afford was the bass drum.

yeah I got a cold too, thank goodness I aint a singer. Thing I hate most about a cold is that your never that ill. You might feel like shit but its not enough to get the day off work or college, they just say 'oh its just a cold'.
