Didgin it Are there any didgers in the house that want to compare techniques? Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead, where there is no path and leave a trail

Well, I thought it was a lot more coporate than 2002 and 2004 may get worse. The security level has been severely stepped up, I had backstage passes to Avalon but in 2002, I could get in2 Pyramid stage and JazzWorld after a bit of blagging... they were sooo not having it this year! Lost Vagueness in the Lost field is such a great way to end the Glasto experience, I just remember we played from 3am to 5am and every1 was just on a buzz right to the end! weird watching every1 leave the next day as I started my 2 mile walk to Pilton central (my kit was taken home for me!) yep red, blowing can be hard work takes alotta regular practise I'm not getting much kick back from mine so it's really hard work I have a friend making me a new one tho
I had a staff pass for this yrs glasto so I pretty much had all access but the vibe is with the people that make it what it is and I can't stand the press so prefer to stay as far away as possible from them. I remember when the traveller field was there and has since changed so much, the buskers, street performers etc have all gone, now its all money, money, money...sign o' the times...still good tho. I spent alot of the time in Lost vagueness too and hung around til tuesday and the parties just kept on going. Do not follow where the path may lead. Talkin' bout blowin the big long hard wood SlaveBoy The ultimate primordial instrument, furthest from the skin flute...lol. With the Didge, I see cave men Heard a decent player here in Toronto introduce Didge into electronica this summer. Just didge and percussion. Pretty Wild, liked it. Butta you look like a tiny thang, must have one set of lungs.

I'm about 5ft - ish!! me didge is prolly 3 ft but its fine...sits nicely between me legs, lol. Its more to do with control than lung power it took me a good couple of months just to get a sound from it, was convinced my didge just didnt work until my 6 yr old picked it up, stood on a chair and got it going first time. Its like gently blowing bubbles, not balloons.
Jay Kay (Jamiroquai) put it on the 'Emergency on Planet Earth' album and it was massive if u haven't heard it u gotta check it out. I bumped into him about 2 months ago and was dying to chat to him about it but I chickened, lol. I think the didge is very hypnotic and sometimes overlooked. Do not follow where the path may lead. I love Didgerama and Didgital Vibrations from Travelling Without Moving! Really goes well with the modern beats as a stand alone instrument. He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. - Albert Einstein

Butter have you recorded anything? no...I'm not experienced enough and my didge is off a production line so it's pretty lame, I need one that is better quality and has its own unique sound that suits me better, I'm getting one made by a friend that plays and is planning to go into business making them by hand so once I've mastered that who knows... lol Do not follow where the path may lead.
