hey I'm here...waiting for a new amplifier, and also having to back up my computer - 20 CD's worth of stuff I need to load off! It means I can't be making music till I fixed this stoopid machine. Anyway I'll be setting up a new system with some better music software once Ive formatted everything!

At the moment I'm trying to write some lyrics and working on a few new (funk) songs. As soon as the computer is ready for action (and when I get my new amp!) Ill be laying down some groove!

I'm still getting settled in my new apartment. Still haven't set up my computer yet... This week for sure. I can't wait for my room/ studio to be all set up. The living room and kitchen are almost done.

If you have a computer, which, I'm guessing you do, then go download the demo version of fruity loops (at www.fruityloops.com ) and then shoot over to www.acidplanet.com and download the demo version of that software. Between the two, you can create complete songs.

Demo workarounds:
Fruity loops wont let you save your work, but you can export wav files until you're blue in the face, so, just create a TON of music loops.

Acid Demo limits you to 8 tracks, so on your loops, try to create two loops in one - the first 8 count is one loop, the second 8-count is a second loop. It's a lot of extra work initially, but it's free.
