Can anyone help me, i play the guitar and want to find out the guitar tab for Prince's 'The Ride',can anyone post it on here please?!I know there's probably no offical Tab for it but im sure some budding guitarist out there has worked out a loose tab/guide for one of the many live versions Prince has played. Many thanks...

It's just a basic I-IV-V blues chord progression. Which version are you specifically interested in? I'm guessing it's just I9-IV9-V9? Or 7's instead.

actually i believe its one chord throughout...G!
built around this riff

-----3
-----3
-----3~4---
---5--3----
-----
-3--3-----

and variations of that all the way through.
lots of soloing in G pentatonic with the odd dorian now and then

mmm...it's interesting that prince refers to is as a blues...it is only one chord so not really a blues at all.

but it is bluesy in style...

John Lee Hooker (rip) anyone?
