Funk so...sheit...I'm thinkin' again
Rebirth of Funk...Grandfather of Funk James 'Make It Funky' Brown Brown Y'know, I could be sampling too much of the harvest...but I seriously think we should pitch this 'rebirth of funk' project to the Grand Daddy of them all 'whaaaooo' JB. I'm listening to '20 All Time Greatest Hits' 2day and 'Make It Funky" was one of my highlights. Man there are so many.'Hot Pants', 'SX MACHINE', 'Papa's Brand New Bag', 'Pay Back', 'Night Train' is well...another fav...great to strip to; likE Harlem Nocturn. Seriously, I think James would endorse a prjoect like this...in his funky honor. He just needs a copy of NFO and some of the indie Artists that have full projects. I'd be into presenting it to him if I can get a full press kit. Now, some of U might say...but the tunes seem more Prince related. Are they? Pffft...That man has acess...U think he don't. He ain't makin a move to progress new funk artists...anymore. This site is the best he's got...and he ignorin' it. It's about the FUNK...the nasty, hit me, all around, get down...hand me down...big pay back...whealin, dealin, no dayum squealing, let me hear it, jump back and kiss yourself, get up offa that thing, superbad, FUNK.
