This weekend I met an old friend of mine who is a professional (live) sound engineer and dance producer. He works with some of Hollands biggest bands (Anouk, Postmen and E-Life) and dance acts (for example JXL, the guy who did the worldwide no.1 Elvis remix "A little less conversation").

I talked to him about my own productions and that I'm not completely satisfied with the sound of them. And now comes the good part: he said he already heard some good things about the 2funkE stuff from a mutual friend of ours. Then he invited me to come over to his studio next week and let him listen to the "2funkE" songs. He promised me that if he likes them he will master the songs for me! YES, the next step in professionalizing my music!!!


He even told me that if he REALLY likes them, he is willing to re-record them using a multitrack digital recorder, and THEN master them to get the best possible results! Ain't that cool or what?!

Even if he doesn't like the songs, I can still copy some professional mastering software from him, so I can try it myself. So anyway I will benefit from my visit to this dude.

I hope the guy likes my stuff and is willing do the job. The only thing is that he has very little time and can probaly not start working on my songs before December, but anyway: I am very happy and excited!!!
