another long long long week of gigs. waah waaaah.

NEVER thought I'd be whining about playing too much.

Played Wed, Thu, Sat and tonight. Halfway thru the second set, my right arm was cramping up MAD CRAZY and my left forearm had pretty much given up the game... barre chords were near impossible.

I NEVER expected that I'd be playing this much EVER. And so, all those warmups and excercises you read about in music mags - never did them. And WHEW SHIT I wish I did, and WHEW SHIT I sure will be doing them now.

The COOLEST event of the whole weekend would be tonight, after the gig; a group of folks were leaving a couple of them said "see ya next week Beau".

These people actually remembered my name? What the hell? I'm just the support player in the band - I'm nobody - I'm the guy over in the corner that solos for 8 measures when i get the nod, and do rhythm the rest of the night - and these folks remembered my lame-ass name?

Well shit. I gotta play out more often!

Sounds like you had a blast man! Hey, even my parents forget my name.

And after all this time I thought this was a sex aid...

Oh - SURE I've been using one of those for YEARS. I just didn't know it was to help me play with my GUITAR.

lol

Actually I was trying to play my acoustic guitar the other night, and after the usual trillion takes you could just blow on my finger tips and it'd feel like needles diggin in. I guess I'll be putting my patented "say goodbye to blisters" 'Fist Wrench Mk.III' palm expander to better use.

Just have to clean the bugger first. Doh!
