Just bought Jeff Buckley at Sin-E.... anybody else dig this cat? This is just him at this little coffee house with a mic, his telecaster and his amp (I'm assuming a Fender).

I like Jeff Buckley! How is this cd? Sounds like it would be cool. Does he play So Real?
Love that song... | |

Jeff Buckley was fantastic. Lover, You Shoulda Come Over is pure bliss.
The version of Eternal Life on your CD is supposed to be something else...true?? He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. - Albert Einstein

The most talented popular musician since Prince.
IMHO, of course. | |

I have everything possible on Jeff Buckley. I seen a video of "Grace" on VH1 back in the day and was hooked ever since!! You must check out JEFF BUCKLEY LIVE A L'OLYMPIA. Any cat diggin' his sound, vibe, music, "choice of chords", will definately appreciate this live CD. It's amazing how only a few people know of him. I was following his every move eagerly anticipating the release of "sketches" when his untimely death had occured. Man! I read about it in Rolling Stone and was floored. Much like the way I was equally floored when I heard of the death of Jaco Pastorius. He was brilliant, and very innovative which puts him on the caliber of greatness in my eyes. Check out if you can his live DVD. That is great music and great video quality. I play it at least once a week. [This message was edited Sun Sep 21 7:37:33 PDT 2003 by jojofran]

And his father was even better. Lennon defying proof that genius may indeed be genetic.

Last Goodbye is just mindblowing - but I understand a lot of the credit goes to the other guitarist in that song - the dude plays all sorts of off the wall guitar arrangements. But what the hell do I know - I just know that song ROCKS when he says:
Kiss me please kiss me. Kiss me out of desire baby, no consolation. You know it makes me so angry cuz I know that in time, I'll only make you cry, this is our last goodbye. SHA-BAMM. That was my breakup-monkeysex anthem. [This message was edited Sun Sep 21 22:21:06 PDT 2003 by otan] The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3
