I hope you don't mind if I tell ya that you're vocal has definitely improved with this one... He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Keep it up! Don't let any negative comments get you down... you're one of the most prolific artists here, AND eclectic which makes it all the more fun. I think everyones advertising their wares for the varied reasons but undoubtedly everyone shares the desire to improve their asthetics - and what better way to do that than to get the low down from a Prince fan!? After all, we have the best taste in music, end of story. Well, most of us He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice. - Albert Einstein

Wow, very cool! The song first kinda reminds me of PIL. I love this! This is CRAZY! Yes, better vocal, BUT can't understand a few lines. I know, even the best of em are hard to understand. BUT, a very important thing about recording vocals is enunciating the ts, ps, etc, etc. Again, listen to the vocal on it's own and re-record the parts that don't quite come out right in the heat of the moment. I love the harmonies and the radio edit part. I don't have to tell you AGAIN that I dig you're guitar playing. Please, please, PLEASE work on and re-record the vocal on this because it's fucking GREAT!!! I'm on my 3rd listen right now. I'm not sure how you can edit the vocal wave in Cool Edit Pro (or whatever you're using, can't remember) but in Cakewalk you can go in and highlight even the tiniest part of a word and raise or lower the db. For example, when I notice that there is too much emphasis on my P or T or whatever, I can see it in the wave file. I highlight that part and lower it a few dbs until it looks and sounds more balanced. Also, lets say there is a part you sang too softly, but other than that it's perfect... well you should be able to highlight that section as well and turn it up! If not, get another program to work with, lol. This is my favorite song by you. Good job on the Prince scream... Aoowah!

Thanks Vina, ya i do edit vocals and i know how to do all of that stuff u mentioned. yes i will fix some stuff. i was just seeing if i could get the vocal recording to just sound good, without editing much.
But thanks for ur comments. I enjoyed making this song. Someday i will get these songs professionally recorded. I hope u liked the poem at the end, which i stuck in at the last sec. I made it for a girl, if u listen u can catch her name at the begining of the poem.
