holy mother of -- HELLOOOOO Los ANGELES!

so - tonight at the sunday night gig I gots, some old guy gets up to do a number or two, whatever - I don't remember his name, but from what I understand, he's a legendary blues performer.

Honestly - I'm not being snide - the guy TOTALLY rocked, I just didn't get his name or nothin.

After the gig, Lola (the band leader) says the gig was an audition - we're going to L.A. for New Year's Eve - all expenses paid, PLUS of course whatever I want to charge for a cross-country new years eve gig.

SAAAYYY WHAT?

So things are looking WAY up. Ain't saying I'm SHOCKED - Lola puts on a kickass show (as some of you heard already) but HOLY CRAP! Flying us from Atlanta to L.A. to do a New Years Eve gig?

SWEET! I'm ALL UP ON that.
