The Dream Guitar Gallery.

Feel free to flame-thrower my ass if this has already been attempted, but for those of us (including myself) who wouldn't mind a little inspiration when it comes to choosing tools for the trade, post a piccie of your dream axe here! It can be anything from classical acoustic to electric guitar... including anything in between! Oh and let's not forget the basses! Try going for aesthetics (visual, and if known, acoustics) and also if known, ease of playing, rather than size of dent in credit card alone.

p.s. no banjos...only joking!

Me, I'm gonna have to go for this Elite T from Ovation for acoustic/electric... I have no idea how it sounds, but it's cool modest looks just make me want to cum... Especially as they have it in black as well! But that's just me!! nuts

Check out the preamp! horny jerkoff guitar headbang

I know. I'm sad.

I love the Les Paul in every color. This is mine but the guy I play with has 3 (2 in back and 1 in white)

Here is the newest Marshall head. I have an old Marshall set-up but I play my Marshall practice amp around the house(it's loud, it feeds back and it's easy to carry).

This set-up works best for me. I also like vintage but I've had to sell all of my best pieces.

I have a Les Paul as well - only the Epiphone-Gibson variety - but it still looks damn sexy, and plays better than any of the other cheap guitars I've had.

I hope that that new Marshall is cum-proof...I need to buy a new amplifier more than anything at the moment and I've always been eager to get something decent - that head gives me head.

(sorry, this is a problem I have! People think I'm wierd when I walk into a guitar shop with a cusion over my crouch).

I have 6 guitars now, 1 acoustic and 4 electric. 2 are Strats, 2 are gibson Les Pauls, 1 is an Ibanez Artstar Full and the acoustic is an ovation.

I am hot and heavy over two guitars. One being a '52 Fender Telecaster re-issue and the other a '54 Les Paul Gold-Top re-issue. Has anyone here played any of these beauties?? I want these babies so bad I can taste it. Can someone post a pic of these two so people can view these two first hand.

The 52 Tele is a perfect re-issue, down to a fault: the next pickup sounds like crap. There's no high-end - apparently in 52, the neck pickup was the "jazz" pickup, so there was no high-end or SOMETHING.

Like you I was totally hot for the guitar until I played it. The sales man said "well you could swap it out with another pickup, and then replace the pickup when you wanted to sell it", but they were asking $900 used for it! I'm sorry, if I pay $900 for a guitar, I want the thing to sound good, I could care less how it looks. I could care less HOW true-to-the-original it is.

But that's just me. I PLAY guitar, don't consider them collectibles. ...not bashing you for having a lot of guitars - I'm just baffled by the folks that buy guitars for the looks or other reasons BESIDES how they sound.

Altho, hell yeah, I'd like me a goldtop les paul. Them's are purty.

I tend to argee with you. The Tele cost over $1200 USD, new. For that price I should be able to go from Jazz to Blues to Funk with ease. I was so looking forward to getting this. I think those pickup hum pretty loud too.

What guitars are you playing Mr. opposite of Nato. (smile)

I'm playing a US strat:

and 90's US tele I just got.

Both are hot rodded - the tele has nashville pickups - little more high end, little hotter, and the strat has some doodad in the last tone knob, where it clicks at 5, and that's a regular 10, so if you turn up past the 5, it boosts the highs and mids a little more.

And I always yank out the spring on the switches. Makes it easier to flip between pickups during solos/rhythm playing. I was always flipping the switch-knobs off into the crowd until I read about hendrix removing the springs. A lot easier to play.

AND - I run both through a 72 Fender Deluxe reverb. Not that reissue crap. A REAL DIZZNEAL.

And hell yes. It sounds like butter. I'll try to put up some stuff over the next few days - FINALLY got recordings of me with the two new bands I'm playing in.

Pretty much.

That's my Stevie Ray "Oh my God that's one ugly mirror!" look.
