Hi there. As you know, I am the founder of the New Funk Order. Over the past months, with the help of fellow org members, I have created what will be one of few organizations for the arts that will actually be a cooperative and social organization for all artistic works, including music, literary works such as essays, novels, poetry, song lyrics, visual works such as videos, movies, designs, sculpture, painting, and many, many, other forms of art. The project was originally intended to be strictly for music and more specifically for the funk and R&B genres, but now, there are many many people from all over the world wanting to keep music and art free, and the New Funk Order is not only limited to just funky music now, but that will always be our specialty.


The biggest announcement of this message is the following:

The New Funk Order is now a non-profit organization

The NFO classifies as a 501 c4 and 501 c12 non-profit organization. The NFO is a organization dedicated to the preservation of the arts, and freely gives artwork (music, etc) to the public. The NFO is also a cooperative organization, meaning that all members of the organization who officially participate have equal share in the benefits from the NFO's promotion and sales of merchandise that are limited to NFO related items only. The personal benefits of being a NFO member is that you will be free from company control. The NFO's goal is to ride with the artist to promote the organization's goal to keep music free from corporate control while at the same time getting individual promotion as a result of the NFO's success and your music being a part of a free NFO music compilation. Any artist joining the NFO must agree to share their music freely, but the individual artists will still own all rights to their music.

We encourage all artists to become involved in this organization. All revenue from special NFO related projects will be distributed evenly among NFO members who participated in the project that sells.

So, this company helps preserve the freedom of the arts while also helping it's members.
