If you please, listen to my tracks!

Hello,

Check out my tracks @

http://stage.vitaminic.co..._van_soest

These are free MP3 and streams of my music in the style of Prince's home-made demo's in the early 80's.

Any comments?

Greetz,

TheFlesh

Funky, that's for sure. Very cool overall, I especially love the line "you can dance if you want to".

A couple of suggestions;

The vocals sound like they need an effect or just ran through an EQ or something.

Then, try singing in a different key than the guitar. When the guitar is playing at the same time you're singing, it wasn't clear.

My 2 cents.

Hey Rene,

Pretty funky shit you got there. I especially like the sounds you've used in "right now I want you". And I like the beats.

I have some advice as well though:

I think the quality of the guitarsound could be better. Maybe you should record it in a different way.

Just my twocents
RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

I like this stuff. Your style is like David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, and Prince from 85 all got locked in a house together and had to make demos. You definetly have the main elements of funk in there. You and another of our orgers have the same vocal style (DreamFirstBorn)- right on the edge of goth.

Peace,
JD

Hi! Thanks for sharing!

Door sounds like the Cure. I dig it.

Flow is really cool, really different. Groovy guitar. I like the baseline in unison with your voice. That's cool. The keyboard parts and the drums are very 80's and I love that. Really great arrangment on this too. Great dance track.

All Nite. I really like your style! The funky guitar mixed with the 80s drum sounds and keyboard bass. The drums are very Prince/ Nine Inch Nails, when you sing "you can dance if you want to".

Right Now I Want You. I really like your baselines! Once again great arrangements! Great drum programming.

Very dark groove. Almost a Depeche Mode/Don't Stop the Music kind of groove.
