Raphael Saadiq is looking for un signed talent for new independent label..who's got a demo?

Former Tony Toni Tone and Lucy Pearl frontman Raphael Saadiq has decided to go the independent artist route. The singer, who was nominated for five Grammy’s at the 2003 Grammy Awards, will release his next album on his own. Additionally, Raphael is seeking talent for his label, Pookie Entertainment. Interested upstart soul and hip-hop artists can send demo packages to: Pookie Entertainment, 4850 Vineland Ave., #241, North Hollywood, CA 91601.

Well, I will respond to this topic. I would be happy to send Raphael some of my music as a gift. If he likes my music and would be interested in my talents, I would be happy to work with him in some way. I am not exactly a fashion model, so it's your call if you want me to actually be a "public" artist, because I'm not exactly thin and musclebound, but I am one of the funkiest white guys I know. I like Raphael's style.

Peace,
JD

Don't sell yourself short, Jason. You got the look, I've seen your photo. But in that photo, the guy next to you is hard on the eyes, man.
