I just landed a gig as one of the 2 sound guys for Milwaukee's most popular band "The Lovemonkeys"!

The members all wear wireless ear pieces and I'm on stage with a sound board mixing what they hear, their monitors.

I did my first day/night with them on Saturday and it was a doozy! 15 hours! First a concert in front of 12000 employees at a huge annual company event then off to a popular venue's summer event for a rockin-ass show till early morning.

The band is a lot of fun and they said I've given them the best sound they've had in many years, even the toughest critic in the band was coming up to me in the middle of the show yelling "F***in' awesome!"

Live sound is new to me, especially with a U-Haul full of eqpmt, but this gig seems to be just what both of us needed. Now the guys want to hear my stuff after the drummer checked some of it out.

Folks, this might lead to some serious hookups here. The lead singer of the band owns and operates Milwaukee's largest and most successful band management agencies.

I showed them the NFO cd and they were all impressed! Oooohhh, Aaaahhh!
